I am a pay monthly customer and hope someone can answer the following question for me. I think my contract allows unlimited downloads but is this only on wi-fi? If I use iPlayer in my car and its using 3G do I incur additional charges?

If you have a data allowance no charge but data slowed when allowance is up.

Just checked and I have 600 minutes and 500mb download per month. How do I work out how much download is used up using iPlayer via 3G?

which phone some have data counters to check or use the my-o2 website / app but iplayer can be a data hog using it up quickly

iPlayer will eat up your data on 3G. Keep a check in My O2. Disable 3G at home and use wifi where possible.

yes the iphone all model have it

settings> General> Usage> Mobile/cellular usage(depending on language selected)

You can reset it on your billing day to zero

All iplayers, YouTube, itv player, etc eat data quick, best to use them on wifi or if you have a large data allowance
