So my phone contract is expiring soon and I want to change to a 12 month sim only contract once it has expired, is there any way I can transfer my number over to the new sim even though I cannot get through to Customer Services about this right now?

Yes you do it via My O2.
Choose UPGRADE to sim only.
Your number wont change at all

Just choose upgrade now in My O2 and then scroll to sim only deal. No need for a new sim card as the change is done immediately on the system so using your existing sim

Found it but it's only giving me one option of tariff, is there a way to get specific type of tariff or does it have to be the one recommended to me?

You can choose 30 day, 12 month or 18 months. The link I'm giving shows 12 months but there is an option at the top of the page to look at the others

Try a completely different browser or the app. You should be eligible.
