If you own one which brand did you buy and what was the main selling points for you?

I invested in a Tissot T-Touch Solar Connect which is quite a bit of tech to put on your wrist. As the name suggests it is aided by Solar charging and can last up to 6 months in best conditions. Rather than being full digital it uses a MIP (memory in pixel) display along with hand movement which uses a digital control. It can be set to several timezones, tell you the barometric pressure, a 3 mode compass, step counter, activity tracker (hiking), timers (chronograph/countdown/alarms) and has an altimeter (the distance from the sea in metres/feet).

Unfortunately it has no ECG sensor. Strap wise it has a titanium butterfly clasp with divers extension, 10 bar (100m) water resistance, the watch face uses sapphire crystal and the bezel is also ceramic.

The t-connect app allows you to store your activities, check your watch battery charge and also monitor the solar intake which can sustain your watch for much longer than a wired charge will do. Anyway it was a tad pricey however I think it is great for what I do.

Apple watches may offer better software and Garmin may be better for adventure tracking. However in looks it looks like a regular watch however once you look again you will realise it can do a lot more.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra
