I am awaiting the update to Cortana for my windows phone 📱. Does anyone know when we will be getting it?

Usually @Chris_K from Social Media updates the forum on new products and firmware releases.

thank you for your quick response, as soon as i posted this thread i saw the others subjects on the lumia updates, sorry i should of looked more into it. 

But i would love to get the update soon if their is one coming.

Man it's so frustrating! I started that thread so long ago now, and all we hear is people who are dying to install the update, and O2 saying "we're waiting for Microsoft" - are O2 calling/emailing/posting to MS every day, asking where it is?

I'm afraid o2 won't be calling/emailing/posting to Microsoft everyday.

O2 receive the updates when the software manufacturers are ready, they will then go through a period of testing by o2 to ensure as best as possible that everything works, then it usually goes back to the manufacturer to release.

It would be much better if all mobile networks only sold sim free handsets. It would solve all of this for everyone.

i am so looking forward to when this comes out, my girlfriend has my old simfree nokia lumia 520 and that has got the update and cortana is soo good. just so excited for it to come to my 1520!!

I updated my , well my partners 520 😄 as she claimed it , to add cortina.

Good fun to use but to be honest she does not use it to any full extent. Personal choice.

I sometimes forget I have Siri on my iPhone.

One feels a little silly talking to the phone whilst out in public.
