Nokia Asha 503 exchange activesync poorly

Hi Everyone

can someone please assist with the exchange activesync for the asha 503.

I have compared my config to a lumia activesync and it all apears to be fine

The issue: when attempting to download mail, nothing appears in the mail after the rotating sync circle.

The credentials are correct as it detected my sync server address correctly and no authentication fail error.

any help greatly appreciated.

PS. imap had the same outcome

Have you got your mail client configure to use packet data connection?

It does not allow me to configure it for the mail client itself, however within the packet data connection option its set to use when wifi is not available

It's been a while since I used a Nokia on that software but I seem to remember something in "Connection Settings" that had to be enabled for each app to use data connections....?
