NOKIA 206 "CALLS NOT ALLOWED"

Hi

I have failed to get help from O2.  I am hoping someone out there can fill the gap.

My primitive but newish Nokia 206 is suddenly refusing to send texts (the icon with arrow indicating "send" is frozen).  Nor can I 'phone:  I get "Call not allowed" message.

The "G" symbol is also crossed through.

I'd be very grateful for nanyy advice.

Firstly try your full postcode to see if there are any local problems : O2 Service Status

Try your simcard in another O2/unlocked phone if possible to find out if the fault lies with your mobile or the sim/account.

Problem solved!  Simply took the sim card out and put it back in.  Worked like magic.  Hope it works for you too.
