Having lived not far from an active volcano in my youth, and given recent news about Tonga's island-shattering eruption, and the previous slowhburner on La Palma that finally quietened down over Christmas past, I keep an eye on these energy releasing events.
La Palma, in the Canaries, will take many months, years, to recover - Tonga and areas impacted by that tsunami, even more.
