The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2020 🙈

Hey guys, I have something lighthearted for you today.

As David Attenborough said: "An understanding of the natural world and what’s in it is a source of not only a great curiosity but great fulfilment." But it is also GREAT FUN!

Entries are still pouring in from all over the world for this year’s Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards.

The competition was founded by wildlife photographers Paul Johnson-Hicks MBE and Tom Sullam and is absolutely free to enter. The competition, now in its 6th year, runs until June 30th at Midnight. Participating is absolutely worth it: The top shot is winning you a once-in-a-lifetime safari in the Maasai Mara in Kenya with Alex Walker’s Serian and a fabulous Z 6 Nikon camera.

But all the fun aside - the competition’s mission is to promote the conservation of wildlife and their habitats. Through their partnership with the Born Free Foundation, who are once again the official competition partners, they help to ensure that this planet’s wildlife is there for the next generation.

And without any further ado I will give you the derpiest animals there are. And frankly I am still giggling.

When someone uses a naughty word in front of your mum

When you just mopped the kitchen but then have to get to the other side

When your mates tell you what drunk you did last night

When she tells you that she invited her parents over for the weekend

When you pretend fighting with your sibling and accidently hit them real hard

As a lover of big cats (you may have noticed via my avatars) then anything amusing related to these, is great to see.

I also watch anything by the wondrous David Attenborough.

I shall have a good look at this when I have more time and hope they add more when they have them.

Good to see the Competition`s connections with Born Free, through whom our little elephant Hope is adopted.

As for this year`s photos, my favourite has to be the lioness and her cubs...
