It developed into a brain tumour which was inoperable

Not unexpected but sad nonetheless. Not everyones' favourite but an entertainer and never dull either performing or talking. A funny man and sad to see someone's health decline so quickly. RIP

Funny enough one of the things I remember is the interview Mrs Merton (Caroline Aherne) did with Debbie McGee
"What attracted you to the multi-millionaire Paul Daniels?" was one question asked. It was taken in good part and in fairness Debbie and Paul had a very devoted marriage. My thoughts are with her and his family...
