widespread backlog delivery issue?

Ordered a pixel 9 pro in August was told it would take "up to 4 weeks" to arrive. That times been and gone. No update from O2. Raised a ticket via twitter because the "my O2" app doesn't work till you're contract is live. Have been told theres some widespread issue in O2 backend but they never provide update or ETA when it will be over. 
Anyone else got this issue or is it just me?
