Moments ago I had an unusual call from someone claiming to be from O2.
the man said that O2 provides a 30% discount for customers who pay their bills on time.
Strange, I never heard that before?!
I replied that I pay by direct debit so my bills are always on time, and, i found it confusing that O2 would call me about this.
but before I could add that I found it strange that O2 never gave me such a discount for this always-timely payment, the man hung up the call suddenly.
A moment later, the same number called me back -but didn't say anything- just dead air.
I hung up the call. I have blocked the number.
Anybody else experience this sort of thing?
I consider myself pretty adept at smelling dodgy content instantly and that call reeked of a scam.

Well know scam trying to get your account details
Provided you did not give them any information you will be OK
Forward the number to 7726 and block
