Has anybody else received a text message from "www.incredicall.com" saying that O2 customers are able to use their international dialing system for free as part of your bundled minutes? I was wondering if anyone has used it and if it's what it says it is?

The website says:
"If you are a pay monthly customer of O2, you can use your inclusive minutes to dial our mobile access number, and make international calls at NO COST - simply call the number and follow the prompts.
Numbers included in your cross network bundled free minutes are taken from your allowance and not charged to your phone, making the calls, essentially, FREE!
Networks Supporting This Service:
Currently, only O2 are supporting this service. However, check back regularly to see if we can add more networks."

It seems ok for what it is.

Did you look at their T & Cs here:

http://www.incredicall.com/tc3.html

They suggest a test call to make sure O2 do not charge for their access number, and calls are limited to 6 minutes, but you can re-dial.

Try it and see I suppose, let us know how you get on.

The number series used isn't allocated for mobile phone use anyway, but is meant for pagers, so I'm sceptical about its prospects.

Even if it works for a while, another reason it's fairly unlikely to last is that O2 don't like and have sanctioned other such providers. Quite a few were blocked a couple of years ago.

If it sounds to good to be true.....(I'll let you filll in the blanks)

Seems like a waste of time - I tried the number, went to a recorded message asking me to press option 1 which I did. Followed instructions and the access number I was given also went to a recorded message telling me that I'd misdialled, find the number you're looking for by dialling a 118 number. Did that only to be told that the 118 number in question ''had not been recognised - please try again''

I don't think I'll be trying again.

Incredi-bull.

Thanks adamtemp64, I didn't know O2 had a spam reporting line...
To ganon64 - have you checked your sms settings? There should be a tick box allowing you to opt out of recieving ad txt messages. It might have been reset to 'recieve all' if you've recently updated the software on your phone.

I've been using that number for months and does it work or at least it did. the calls used to last for only 6 min but you could redial and t was deducted from your bundled minutes. I've been calling Spain, USA, Brazil until yesterday because the service is not available anymore. Maybe I should thank those who reported the number to O2. Again, I have to find another service to keep my phone bill in budget because of some (####) loyal customer reporting to O2 another scam. If you know another number that still active please let me know how to find it (I dont think is a good idea to leave the number here as it may be monitored by O2)
