Solved: IPHONE 3GS CORRUPTED AFTER DOWNLOADING IOS6 HELP

Please can anyone help my iphone 3 will not turn on or charge its battery and itunes does not recognise that it is connected to my laptop this happened after downloading ios6 a few weeks ago. can anyone HELP !!!!

the ios 6 is only available for the 3gs & upwards, there wont be able to have anymore updates on older models

Hold down power and home for 30 seconds. Fingers crossed this will reset it.

its says a 3 but doesnt say whether its a 3g or 3gs, oops, my eyes are decieving me, my advice is to take it to an apple shop as you wont be able to downgrade to the last update

It says both 3 and 3GS so it's anyone's guess. Fact is 3GS is to old and slow to handle iOS6. Loads have fallen over with the update but Apple insist on peddling it out still......
