Has anyone used 2020 service?

I’ve just tried the new 2020 service from O2 and I’m really impressed.

Texted MyO2 to 2020 and was sent a text back with a link that let me look at all my account info on my phone – I was able to check all my account stuff but also had loads more billing info and even my contract end date – great to know for upgrades!

Think this must be new, has anyone else tried it?

Yes it's a fairly new service. Using your phone's web browser if you go to http://wap.o2.co.uk/myo2account you can see your remaining allowance, tariff, bolt ons and calling plan. As Jmmybbkr has also noticed if you text myo2 to 2020 you'll get a text back with a link you can (depending on your handset) follow that will take you straight to the info.

The good news is...it's free to look at!

And if you text the word 'number' to 2020, it sends back confirmation of your mobile number - handy if you get different Sim cards mixed up.

Texts sent to 2020 are free. O2 customers only, occording to Help pages on www.o2.co.uk.
