Solved: Coverage issues in Northern Ireland

My mother and uncle are experiencing very sporadic coverage where they live outside Castlederg in County Tyrone, NI. Previously their phones worked perfectly but over the last couple of weeks only about 1 call in 10 gets through. All their getting is 'call failed'.

Anyone else having problems?

According to the status checker http://status.o2.co.uk/ there is a mast down in that area. If you put in the full post code it will give you more information, but it appears that O2 are aware of the problem.

They might want to try using the TuGo app, which might help until the problem is resolved: http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/tu-go
