Bolt-ons

Anonymous
Not applicable

I like O2, but I don't find the one-of payment bolts-on very good value.

£5 for 500mb of data isn't much for a fiver, especially for a smartphone with lots of apps - that's not even 1GB. And £12 for 3GB is £2 more expensive than a Big Bundle. £5 for 3GB would be better.

And there's not much choice of bolts on.

That's my gripe over with. Sorry for the moan 😃

You would be better upping your tariff if you regularly need more data

Otherwie look at other networks and their MVNOs for better value

I've never found the bolt ons on any network good value for money.

Still better than £7.50 per Mb roaming charges. Not sure how that can be justified

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Anonymous Umm.. the price is even higher than you think, it's £6.50 for 500MB per month bolt on, up to £30.50 for 12GB

The Big Bundles are definitely better value for use abroad, even better than the £6 per day out of EU Travel.
