Why have the cost of bolt-on's gone astronomical?
O2 need to review this as I have been looking around and seen some better offers from other phone companies.
I have been with O2 for eleven years but this exorbitant fee for additional data is well over-the-top and 'feels' like a a bit of a rip-off and not fair on ALL O2 customers.
Today I change companies from O2 to (unamed as I will not advertise against O2 because O2 ARE a great phone company but I cannot sustain these payments.)
I do not need to get another tariff as I teach mathematical physics via the web and down/uploads of pdf's etc. on an irregular basis.
Adding O2 bills to my students fees doesn't help.....
Thank-you.
Frank.

Hi @FrankWeyl

I'm sure our community admin will feedback your comments to O2 but unfortunately, no one here can know the answers to the high costs of bolt ons.

It's always been the case that you may possibly get a good tariff deal but adding data has been quite monstrous value for money. O2 make a lot of money from over pricing data bolt ons but they need to compete with the other networks or risk losing customers like @FrankWeyl living on a student income.

Thanks for the tag @MI5

@FrankWeyl I'm sorry to hear that you've found the price of bolt ons to be too expensive. Was it just the data bolt on you had problems with or was there anything else you thought was priced to high? I'm happy to pass on your feedback either way.
