Was looking for webchat, but doesn't seem easy to find on O2.
Does anyone know what the next step is when the sim swap request has been made; has been acknowledged by O2, but 6 hours later you can still not make a call from your phone?
The automated O2 helpline directs me towards webchat, but webchat does not appear available.

Have you rebooted the phone with the new sim in it?
We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
