I have just ordered my upgrade from O2 online.

I'm currently on O2 and have an iphone 8 with 4G and i'm about to receive an iphone 12 with 5G.

I want to keep the same number - is this automatic?

Also because the new phone is 5G will I need to activate a new SIM card or can I transfer my old one?

Many thanks

@missajm

You'll receive a new 5g sim with your phone.

You will need to do a sim swap to activate it Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
