O2 Euro Traveller data not working

Anonymous
Not applicable

My girlfriend is currently working in France so we decided to get an O2 contract for the Euro Traveller Bolt-on (Apple Iphone 6).

Whilst in the UK the data was working fine, however in France/Italy the screen is still showing the 3G symbol and full signal but the data isn’t connecting.

I have spoken to the tech guru’s and we have tried;

  • The sim in another phone
  • Selecting the network manually
  • Resetting the ‘Cellular Data Network’
  • Trying data whilst the Wi-Fi is completely shut down
  • Restarting the phone

Has anyone got a solution to this problem? Could it be something to do with the Cellular data ‘APN’ ‘Username’ ‘Password’ or MMS?

Thanks

International access needs to be enabled on the account, so ask cs to check this.
You can also try manually selecting different networks to see if that gives an improvement.

Is Roaming turned on?

  1. Turning on data roaming may incur roaming charges.
    1. From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > Cellular > Roaming.
    2. Ensure the Voice & Data Roaming switch is turned on (in the green position).
    3. Tap the Data Roaming switch to turn on or off .
