Hello, I am on an o2 contract and i;ve tried to put my sim card into a samsung s2 ( was an iphone before it broke ), I can connect to the internet via wifi or without wifi but i can't make a call or text it keeps saying not registered on network... any ideas why?

Tried updating apn settings.
Tried factory reset.

Any other ideas?

Sounds like the handset is barred.
Check the imei number on Checkmend.

Hi @Anonymous Did you buy the phone from new and where from? If it came from Ebay this could be the problem I suspect, if the previous owner had it barred as part of an insurance claim. Check out the IMEI via this site.
