Network coverage Cyprus

Friend and myself in Cyprus last week, he is also on O2. His iPhone 4G coverage was more or less uninterrupted but on my OnePlus 5 was no where near as good. Why is there a difference?

That's not a question easily answered.

Maybe your phone needed adjustments to the network settings or you were picking up a different network.
