Mobile data not working

I have a Samsung s5 mini on pay monthly contract. Recently my mobile data has stopped working properly. Sometimes when I turn data off then back on it will work again for a while but then won't again. I have recently been abroad on holiday and turned my data off I don't know if this will have anything to do with it.

First thing to check is if there are any issues in your area http://status.o2.co.uk/
Also check your MyO2 to see if you have data left this month http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

If all good with the above, text the word "active" to 2020 and save the settings you get sent back.

Checked coverage in the area and it said it may be bad so I presume that's the problem, I still checked data and sent active but no change. Hopefully will sort itself out soon thanks for the reply.
