Green line on S3 screen

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi. I could do with some advice please.

For no discernable reason my Samsung Galaxy S3 has developed a single pixel width neon green line a 3rd of the way across my screen from top to bottom.

I took the phone out 10 months ago on an O2 24month contract.

I've done a hard reset and restored phone to factory settings to no avail. It appeared for 24 hours the same day as the S3 update. Disappeared for 12 hours or so then reapprared and has now been there about 3 weeks. It does not move and is there as soon as phone switvhed on in dame place on all screens.

Any ideas? Where do I stand on phone faults on a contract phone that's less than 12 months old?

Thanks

Nicky

Hi Nicky you would be best taking it to samsung direct to get it repaired O2 repairs leave a lot to be desired and to be honest I wouldn't trust them

Hi,

I would in your shoes seek assistance from the manufacturer.

Hi

Sounds like stuck pixels.

Had those on my old samsung and had to have my screen replaced.

Contact samsung directly as o2 repairs are not recommended on here.

Thanks every one for the advice and heads up on O2 tech. Does anyone know best way to contact Samsung direct? Will it still be dealt with in warrantee? I fear is going to be a pain to fix whatever because I use this phone for work and my back up is the most basic thing known to man. Doh.
