Galaxy S3 - Camera Failed

Anonymous
Not applicable

Randomly my Camera has stopped working. "Warning Camera Failed" message. I have tried rebooting, Deleting the data in the Applications manager folder, but it has not worked. I had skype and uninstalled it thinking this might be the problem, but again the camera has still failed. It was working fine since the last software update, but all of a sudden has stopped working.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

The only way to check for sure if it's hardware or software is to do a factory reset (which will remove all your apps). Try the camera without adding any apps and see if it works. If it does it confirms that you have an app that is giving you the issue. If it still doesn't work it's a hardware issue which will need to go back to Samsung for repair.
