I normally text 'Balance' to 20202 to get my 'bundle' balance - minutes/texts/data and get an instant reply.
For a week now I do not get a reply at all, so have no idea how many minutes etc I have left to last me until I can next buy a bundle.
Very frustrating!
The online chat advisor could not solve it.

Yes, always use cs rather than live chat if u can. Live chat is notoriously crap at their job 😞

Whilst I really appreciate the suggestions that I have been sent, I just want to be able to use the text service as before.
rosadosc suggestion does give me the information, but not as quick as text when rushing and also I then have to write it down or remember the information. rosadosc appears to work for O2 but not in the capacity nor with O2's authority to answer the query.
What I have found really frustrating is that O2 don't appear to give a damn! They just use their customers as free advisors rather than apply enough staff to deal with the problem.
Why the hell don't O2 read the queries that their PAYING customers are asking and reply with an answer!
On a seperate note, last month I asked through Web chat for o2 to stop sending me texts in the middle of the night (03:38 last month) to tell me that I'm "out of credit." I was told that it was not a problem and they would switch this function/facility off. Guess what?...... this month they sent me the text at 02:24, 05:38, 08:35, 09:53, 11:13, 11:14,17:16,18:31, 18:47 and 19:41 - TEN TIMES including being woken up in the middle of the night twice!!! Are they taking the mick??? Particularly on the back of the fact that when I DO want to know my balance the text service hasn't been working for at least 10 days now!!!!

Have you updated your preferences about texts in My O2....I have little faith in chat and maybe you need to call them to get the texts stopped.
With regards to the balance text, it's strange how it works on pay monthly and not on payandgo. Just this minute sent a text for balance....
