Hi all,
Quick question i hope! My partner just smashed her phone and so i was going to upgrade using my refresh account and looking at the iphones she wants a 5c ( good news as its cheap ) and i noticed a refurb one is only £120 upfront so no device payments and £13 a month for the tariff
Now if i buy this can i cancel the airtime plan after a couple of months or do i have to pay of for 24months
thanks!

The warranty on a refurb is only 3-6 months so if anything goes wrong after the initial period, you'd have to get it repaired at a cost to yourself

It's a min of 3 months or the balance of manufacturers warranty - whichever is the longest.
A question on this (for my info) ....With a refurb are you unaware of how much is left on the manufacturers warranty until you actually get the phone?? I am asking because if you buy a second hand car it always states the MOT left ...

You can usually check once you have the phone by checking the manufacturers website but no way of you checking what o2 are going to send you upfront.
Thanks for that...silly question probably but something that struck me when I read your answer....
(Thinking about it though... they surely wouldn't have a shelf full of particular refurb models to choose from)
