Free texts to 02 friend suddenly not free?

I'm on Pay & Go. I last topped up on 23rd Oct, giving me unlimited free texts to 02 customers until 23rd Nov. However I'm now paying 12p a text to text my friend who is with 02. She has just got a new phone but has the same sim card. Prior to this, my texts to her were always free. Any ideas what's happened? Her texts to me are still free for her.

Any help appreciated!

Check your tariff in your MyO2 just to make sure your tariff is as you say.

I then suggest you ring O2 Uk Customer Services on 4445 (25p per call)for official clarification.

If it's an error they should return any credit taken.

I've contacted 02. They could see the friend's number I was talking about. I was being charged because she'd changed her contract with 02 and 'something' hadn't gone through on the system. She rectified it, gave me the credit back and gave me some free texts to non 02 people.

So all is well.
